“Community is where humility and glory touch” Henri J.M. Nouwen
Ever since July it’s been survival mode: trying to hold my declining health together in hopes of being healthy enough to look at other medical treatments. It’s been a form of tunnel vision trying to see a way out of this. A slippery slope of managing my increasing symptoms at home, to remain outpatient during transplant evaluation. Despite this, since my mind had to switch to survival mode, my heart has burst with an abundance of love, kindness, and joy. As a result of incredible actions of love, my tunnel vision has been lifted every day on this journey. Those emotions and flows of bliss are all from… well, YOU! You all, my community, my people, my team, have lifted my family and I up to the stars and beyond. Thank you for drying my tears without even knowing you are doing so. Thank you for the prayers and positive thoughts. Thank you for the comments and shares of posts to raise awareness for rare diseases. Thank you for being you. Thank you for showing what Isabelle’s Fight is, Our Fight. Our Fight to find the peace within… to seek the good out of the bad. To live this beautiful life.
In the following photos you can see visual instances of the euphoric love that is spread by people who humble and make us grateful… These are teachers, friends, staff members, and family members who share their pure love with my family and I every day. Thank you for being my family and community: to have your support is why we are able to carry on.
All of my love, and please enjoy these visual representations of compassion from Friday, sometimes we all need a reminder of the beautiful people we are surrounded by,
Isabelle
