“Jachin’s Angel Kises Everywhere”
The JAKE Foundation raises incredible awareness for Sturge-Weber Syndrome, while creating joy for so many other individuals battling debilitating illnesses. I know they create joy for others as my family and I are actually a recipient of their passion. This winter my Make-A-Wish to see the mountains and be with my family in Colorado was granted. It was the most majestic experience I have ever had. I have never felt such tranquility while looking at nature… but looking at those mountains took my breath away. I like to think it helped heal some of the emotional trauma of fighting for my life. When I fought to relearn how to walk, when I was told I would need another surgery, or simply during a tube change, my mind always wonders to those peaceful moments in Colorado. The trip provided me a constant escape in my head. There for when life is just too rough.
My wish was beyond beautiful. And I want so many other warriors to experience moments like that as well. This summer the Jordan family hosted their 2017 JAKE Foundation Golf Outing. Not only did this event help others, but it also helped with research for Sturge-Weber Syndrome, which is impacting sweet little Jachin. This event was also so special, as it was on Jachin’s 10th birthday, and is was his big 10th event. I was so thankful to be there, as it is truly a small gesture compared to the gift they gave to me.
If you can donate to their cause please do! If you want to send little birthday wish to Jachin that would be so special for his big birthday. Please keep this family in your thoughts and prayer…. they have been through so much. Please send them positive vibes and lots of gratitude. I know we will forever be grateful for what they have done.
All my Love,
